We’re excited to kick off the wedding weekend with a welcome Happy Hour at The Trace Resort. Join us as we gather to celebrate the upcoming wedding – and Jennifer’s birthday – with an evening of food, drinks, music, and time together by the lake. It’s a chance to settle in, reconnect, and toast the start of the weekend with friends and family in the Kawarthas.

You are welcome to arrive starting at 3:30 pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 pm. Join us as Jennifer and Parker exchange vows on the dock over the water. Guests will be seated shoreside with beautiful views of the lake. For Kasshabog friends and family, we will provide a bus shuttle service for the evening – details to follow.

Immediately after the ceremony, there will be a cocktail hour by the lake! 

After the cocktail hour, enjoy a plated dinner under the tent with great food, drinks, and speeches.

After dinner, the dance floor will be open – time to break out your best moves and enjoy a rowdy, joy-filled night! Pre-arranged bus service will offer two return times to family members and lake friends staying at their private cottages for your convenience.

For the night owls, get ready to dance all night. We will move the party into the largest cabin on the property and continue the party late into the evening!

A slow, easy morning by the lake. Enjoy a simple self‑catered bite, pack up at your own pace, and take a final swim or lounge by the water before heading home.
